The Galleries at Armory Artswalk
This historic venue located on the grounds of the original Jackson Prison provides a unique venue for events. Frequently asked questions include:
1. What is the rental fee for this space?
The Galleries rent for $100/hour for the actual time in the space including rental deliveries, set-up, vendor arrival, actual event time, tear-down and clean-up.
2. How many will the space accommodate?
The Galleries can host parties of approximately 500 seated guests.
3. What about catering facilities?
There are no kitchen amenities in the Galleries. Caterers must carve out space in the Galleries for set-up, etc. All refuse created by the event must be carried away from the property at event end. There are no dumpsters available for this on the property.
4. How long may my event go?
All music must end at 11pm in accordance with City of Jackson sound ordinances.
5. What about tables and chairs?
These are not available. Rental arrangements must be made with an outside source.
6. Is alcohol allowed?
Yes. It is advised to secure additional insurance whenever alcohol is offered.
